Camera Direction should be avoided when writing your screenplay-unless you are writing the Daily changes a.k.a.: Color Pages, Revisions; or, whatever your Director wants to call them.

You should also leave the scene numbers out as well, i.e., The numbers that will appear in the left and right margins, at the top of the scene, that flow consecutively from 1-120. The absence of the scene numbering aids in the readers ability to scim the pages, scene to scene, without distraction.

We have included the CAMERA DIRECTION on one page of the screenplay for reference purposes only so that you can see where the proper direction should be placed. See below.
